CHAI.TV is a boutique gallery located centrally in the heart of Taylor Square ( behind Kinselas ). We support and promote artists in the creation and presentation of new work that artists play in our communities. Exhibitions include contemporary visual art and sculpture, photography, design, architecture etc. The gallery space is available for hire.

Art exhibition proposals can be submitted to the gallery director Raymond Chai. An initial appointment can be made to discuss the proposals and present some slides or photographic copies of the artworks for consideration. Please refer to the submission form guidelines Expression Of Interest for additional details.

A confirmed booking will be made once an established exhibition dates has been established, accompained with 50% deposit of the total rental fees. Please refer to conditions of contract.

The artist or representative shall be in attendance during the opening night and during gallery business hours for the duration of the exhibition. The exhibition can be attended by gallery staff which can be arranged in advance upon request. A commission of 25% will then apply to all works sold.

Exhibition Contract Agreement:
A standard agreement for one-off show will be used to cover the period of the exhibition.

Rental fees per week: $430 +10% GST

Excludes:
manning of the exhibition
abnormal making good after exhibition
itemised phone calls
advertising costs
mailing costs
alcohol costs (partial sponsorship is available)
